Memories are stories.
Our lives are what we can tell about them.
The beginnings and the wonder. The achievements and failures.
The goals we reached, the unexpected setbacks, disappointments, and hopes.

Understanding ourselves is storytelling.
Because that is how we explain ourselves. A mirror in which we find ourselves.
They teach us and reveal things to us. We explore possibilities.
They give us meaning. Everything takes on meaning when we can tell it.
In them, we recreate ourselves.

We share stories.
They build us as a community: they teach us how to relate to one another from a young age and later become a meeting place with others.
They become common ground, a collective reference point.
That is why they are a bridge to those who are different or distant.
Because in a good story, we all see ourselves reflected.

That is why we need new stories.
And if it is necessary to change things, if we want to change the story, we have to tell that story.
We weave the future with stories.

That is the revolution we believe in.

About the Manifesto: Each year we publish a manifesto reflecting the social circumstances and the place we occupy as a community. It also serves as the foundation for developing the creative concept and visual identity of that year's festival.

This time, the manifesto takes a different form: phrases or statements, each expressing the principles we believe in and that support what we do. For that reason, and in an effort to explain each one a little further, we have decided to publish it in parts, with one article dedicated to each statement. Read the first article in the series here.
