Open Call for Women-Directed Projects
Open Call for Women-Directed Projects
| Open Calls | 2026 |
Pixelatl invites women creators and directors from our community to participate in an incubation and networking program designed to support the production of their animated short film projects.
- The program will take place as part of the Pixelatl 2026 Festival and also aims to help participants find suitable allies and partners among members of our community.
- Projects must be directed exclusively by women (co-directed projects will not be accepted).
- We are looking for original stories told from the perspective of Mexican women creators.
Selected projects will receive the following benefits:
- A Creator Pass for the entire Festival and a discount coupon for a second team member
- Access to a pitch workshop to present projects, and a pitch session before an audience of producers (activities exclusive to this program)
- An invitation to the Women in Animation Meet Up
- Access to networking sessions with industry directors and executives during the event, as well as the Festival's selected participants' cocktail reception
You can find the form to submit your project at convocatoriaspixelatl.com/directoras.
You have until October 16 to submit your project.
