Call for the Formation of the Social Oversight Committee

XV Pixelatl: Animation, Video Games, and Comics Festival 2026

The Support Program for Cultural and Artistic Festivals, known as PROFEST, is administered by the General Directorate for Cultural Promotion and Festivals of the Ministry of Culture (located at Dinamarca No. 84, Ground Floor, Col. Juárez, C.P. 06600, Cuauhtémoc Borough, Mexico City) and is one of the components of the Culture Support Program (S268), which is subject to Operating Rules.

The objective of PROFEST is to contribute to enriching the artistic and cultural offering and facilitate access to it for the entire population through the organization of cultural and artistic festivals.

As a mechanism for monitoring and controlling the budget allocated for the optimal development of cultural projects, this year it was determined that the project: XV PIXELATL: Animation, Video Games, and Comics Festival 2026, would be subject to oversight. For this reason, citizens are invited to join the Social Oversight Committee in order to establish mechanisms for verifying, monitoring, and validating the fulfillment of goals and the proper use of public resources for this project.

Requirements to participate:

Be over 18 years of age
Have a valid official ID
Preferably, be able to read and write
Not be employed by Fundación Artic para la Cultura y las Artes, A.C., under any employment arrangement, or, if previously employed by the organization, not have worked there during the two years immediately preceding the date on which the Committee is established
Reside in Guadalajara, Jalisco
