GIF Themed Open Call

Create an animated GIF and win your Festival pass with your talent!

Pixelatl invites all animators and creatives to participate in the animated GIF open call on the theme of The Resistance, inspired by the phrases from the Pixelatl 2026 manifesto.

• Entries using any animation technique are accepted, with a duration of 7 to 14 seconds

• Selected works will be displayed on the Festival screens

• Creators can be of any nationality

• All properly submitted GIFs will receive a 1-day Campus Pass for the Festival

• Selected works will win a Creator Pass for the entire Festival

• The deadline to participate is October 19

About the Eso que nos Une Award

Since 2015, Pixelatl has launched a themed open call every year to promote the creation and/or dissemination of animated shorts whose stories help us better understand “what unites us” and what makes us a community. Between 2020 and 2023, the Eso que nos Une Award was incorporated as a special category within the Chinelo open call.

This year, we have decided to make it an independent open call once again, in order to promote the Pixelatl manifesto of the year.
