Ciudad Creativa Digital and the British Council in Mexico invite video game studios and entrepreneurs to participate in Conecta Challenge 2026, an intensive program of training, specialized mentorship, and international networking designed to accelerate the growth of video game studios through masterclasses, personalized mentorship, connections with international networks, networking events, and pitching, as well as the opportunity to join an international delegation to the United Kingdom and compete for the Conecta Challenge 2026 prize.
As part of the program, selected participants will be able to develop a video game proposal in response to a strategic challenge set by the Government of Jalisco. The winning project will receive financial support of $500,000 Mexican pesos to develop its proposal.
What does Conecta Challenge consist of?
It is an intensive acceleration program for video game studios that will take place from September to December 2026 in a hybrid format (online, with some in-person events in Jalisco). The program consists of the following components:
10 masterclasses taught by experts from Mexico and the United Kingdom.
6 group mentorship sessions.
Between 3 and 6 individual mentorship sessions per studio/entrepreneurial team, with national and international specialists.
Networking with publishers, investors, and industry professionals.
The possibility of being selected to join the delegation traveling to Beyond Conference 2026 in the United Kingdom.
The opportunity to compete for the $500,000 MXN Conecta Challenge prize.
Who can participate?
The program is aimed at video game studios or entrepreneurs in Mexico.
Team members must have at least 3 years of experience.
They must be developing a video game.
They must have an intermediate/advanced level of English.
They must be looking to expand into international markets.

IMPORTANT: Everyone who registers will be able to participate in the first Conecta Challenge session, which will take place on September 9 at Ciudad Creativa Digital, with a program of workshops and masterclasses for creative developers.
Of all those who register, 25 projects or entrepreneurial ventures will be selected for the online mentorship and masterclass program. They will be eligible both to join the delegation traveling to the United Kingdom in November and to compete for the Conecta Challenge 2026 prize.
