Attitude Does Make a Difference
| Blog | Community |
These are difficult times, and to some extent, we all suffer from the aggression of others and words filled with resentment that only fuel social unrest.
There is a toxic atmosphere in social media, in groups, and in the general environment. A hypersensitivity and exaggerated hostility that seem to make everything more complicated.
To that atmosphere, we can add our own frustrations, complaints, and disappointments: because others are not what they should be, because we don’t get what we deserve, because everything is unfair and that’s why we fail.
But we can also try not to get caught up in it, to do something different, to focus on what depends on us.
I don’t mean to say that this will change everything. We must start by knowing that our sphere of influence is limited, as are our resources and abilities. And we must not expect that our effort alone will be enough to achieve the success we imagine, which in reality also depends on many factors beyond our control.
But it’s necessary to recognize that our attitude and our work do make a difference. Maybe they don’t change the direction of the world, but they do change something—ourselves. And also those around us.
Because doing things well, with humility, and striving to improve each time, also impacts the spirit of those within our reach. And that opens new doors.
The greatest resource we have is not our talent, our creativity, or our abilities. It’s other people. And there are many well-intentioned people who work hard every day to pursue their dreams with effort and dedication. And if we help each other, we will have more chances.
It’s not a magic formula, but an arithmetic fact: resources and abilities multiply, and then our reach grows.
And that’s how we can re-enchant the world. Together.
