Casa del Autor Zapopan

La Casa del Autor Zapopan is an artistic residency program inspired by the French model La Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, which has become an international reference for comics.

The facilities at La Casa del Autor Zapopan are fully equipped for the development of graphic and audiovisual stories. They include classrooms for courses, infrastructure for producing fanzines, an open workshop for the public, a library, meeting rooms, and other creative spaces.

The program welcomes both national and international residents, offering access to a network of international partners to support and promote participants’ projects. It also organizes workshops and courses open to the local community.

Closely linked to La Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, the program has gained recognition as a benchmark in the comic world.
