The "Plataforma Abierta de Innovación" is a strategic project of the Government of the State of Jalisco that promotes the development of skills and competencies for the jobs and demands of the digital age. Among its objectives are fostering the connection of people, companies, projects, and ideas, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship to contribute to Jalisco’s competitiveness.

PLAi is located in the First Creative Complex of Ciudad Creativa Digital, in Building C.

PLAi’s physical spaces are open and equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to collaborate, learn, and connect. They include high-tech classrooms for classes and workshops, an auditorium, coworking rooms, cubicles, multimedia production and robotics labs, among other spaces. In addition, they also host training activities and promote technological research and innovation.
