Getse Pérez

Lead Storyboard Artist and Director | Mexico


Getse Pérez is a communicator and storyboard artist. After years working in political communication, animation first caught her attention as a self-taught artist. Her first collaboration in the story department was on the animated short Camille, nominated for the 2024 Ariel Award in its category. Her career then took off, working for studios such as Mighty Animation, Demente, Huevocartoon, Éxodo Animation, Tunche Estudio, Moira Animation, and many others; collaborating on projects such as La vida secreta de tu mente (HBO, 2022), The Casagrandes: The Movie (Netflix, 2023), and many more independent films and shorts throughout Latin America.

Her professional training includes mentorships with Matt Roberts, Disney art recruiter; Nico Selma, storyboard supervisor at Nickelodeon; and Raj Ramkalawan, former Netflix storyboard artist. Recently, her debut short Ay Mijo was selected by the Pixelatl Festival for the Shortway 2025 program.
