As part of the Festival, this year we will feature a small exhibition of puppets used in two Stop Motion productions.
They will be displayed in the Expo so you can visit whenever you have the chance.
Here are some details of each showcase:
An exhibition of puppets and materials used in the Portuguese stop-motion film Os Demónios do Meu Avô. The display allows you to discover the handcrafted process behind the film, showcasing sketches and characters. The movie tells the story of Rosa, who investigates her grandfather’s dark past in a rural village, facing the “demons” of melancholy, anger, and loneliness that haunt her family.
Luli and Gabo is a Mexican animated series distributed through alternative media, reaching new audiences with a different format. Recently, an episode was produced in stop motion with clay, in collaboration with René Castillo and his team. During the festival, the puppets of the characters will be on display.
