Creativa GDL Launches Its Call for Applications
| Journal | News |
Creativa GDL is a high-impact incubation program focused on the creative industries, offering mentorship, funding opportunities, strategic partnerships, and national and international exposure. It is aimed at early-stage projects and seeks to transform them into scalable, profitable businesses capable of competing internationally.
The program is an initiative of Guadalajara’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Economic Promotion, and yesterday they officially launched the call for applications for the sixth generation of incubated projects.
This year, the program aims to support 30 projects in the fields of video games, animation, design and digital art, content creation, and audiovisual and music production. Applications are now open to all interested participants who, if selected, will take part in a program that includes:
- Comprehensive project assessment.
- Development of a business plan.
- 70 hours of training divided into:
- personalized consulting on business models, marketing, legal, and financial matters;
- specialized mentorship according to the type of project, designed to foster connections and networking opportunities;
- practical workshops focused on business skills, soft skills, and emerging markets.
- A calendar of complementary networking events (Cluster Meetings, Creative Talks, FuckUp Nights, and more).
- Creative Showcase: an urban exhibition format designed to validate projects.
- Creative residencies, networking opportunities, and international connections.
- Access to financing opportunities through partner initiatives and strategic allies.
- Post-incubation support: once the program concludes, participants retain access to the Creativa GDL network, additional training content, satellite events, and other benefits.
In addition to the incubation process, the call offers grants and cash prizes for winning projects. So if you have a business idea or a project within the creative industries, it is worth taking a look at the call for applications and applying to help bring it to life.
Creativa GDL is designed so that even the application process itself becomes a learning experience for participants. For that reason alone, it is worth reviewing the call and taking part. The program is open to applicants from any Spanish-speaking country.
