Esteban Bravo Palafox, born and raised in Mexico City, began his journey into animation when he moved to the US to study at Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. After earning his degree in 2017, he joined Blue Sky Studios' Story Department, where he worked on projects like "Spies in Disguise" and "Nimona" until the studio closed in 2021. His college thesis "In a Heartbeat" garnered widespread acclaim and won a Gold Student Academy Award in 2017. He also co-directed an animated music video for Freddie Mercury's "Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow” in 2019. Currently, Esteban is working at Pixar as a Story Artist on their first ever original series, “Win or Lose” and their upcoming theatrical release Elio.
